My friend Alesha originally made this dip for one of our get togethers and oh my gosh! It is SO good! It doesn’t have any eggs in it either so you don’t have to worry about consuming raw eggs! She served it with Nilla wafers the first time and that’s a fantastic combination! I bet it would be scrumptious on any sweet thing really though or as a topping on ice cream, YUM!
– 1/2 cup butter
– 1/3 cup brown sugar
– 1 tsp. vanilla extract
– 1 block softened cream cheese
– 1/2 cup powdered sugar
– 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Melt butter, add brown sugar, and vanilla and mix together. Cream together the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Slowly add in the brown sugar/butter mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Place in the fridge to chill or serve right away with Nilla wafers.
I made this punch for my baby shower and it was a huge hit with everyone! Definitely one I’ll make again!
– 2 packages frozen strawberries, thawed (16 oz).
– 2 cans frozen lemonade concentrate (12 oz).
– 1/2 cup sugar
– two (2 liter) bottles of Sprite, chilled
In a blender, blend strawberries, sugar, and thawed lemonade concentrate. Pour mixture into large punch bowl and add in the chilled soda. Stir and top with fresh sliced lemons. Enjoy!
This weekend was so much fun! We had my baby shower for Olivia and it was a blast! Everyone had a great time, we had good food and fun games! I have a couple recipes from it that I’ll try and get posted in the next day or so. I can’t believe tomorrow marks exactly one month until she’ll be in our arms, if I don’t go into labor sooner. We cannot wait to meet her and are feeling so blessed 🙂
Here’s some pictures from the shower 🙂 I made all the cupcakes from scratch as well as the frosting. I also frosted and decorated them myself, which took an eternity but I was really happy with how they came out 🙂
